Tell us about yourself!
My name is Lori, I live in Mont Vernon with my Husband Ryan, son Liam and our dog Tucker. I grew up in southern New Hampshire. Out of high school I went into the military and served 8 years in the Army Reserves. At the same time I completed my undergrad at University of Colorado where I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology. Then went on to get my Masters as a Physician Assistant from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 2011. Since then I have had a career helping patients in Orthopedic Surgery, Urgent Care, Medical Aesthetics, and Longevity Medicine.
In my free time, you can find me hanging out with my family. I love to get outside and be active. From hiking, to running races, biking and skiing. The more outdoor time for me the better.

I help patients look and feel their best. I was seeing results that were not only improving patients’ health but were overall life changing. I opened Optimized Health in 2023 and have been using a combination of medical weight loss, longevity medicine and peptides to help patients lose weight and feel better. We all know that obesity and being overweight contribute to major health concerns like cardiovascular disease, diabetes and depression. The effects of weight loss on these are well documented, but what I find even more exciting are the benefits that are seen but not well measured. The joy it brings these patients to feel good about themself, the confidence boost, the social lives and family lives that are improved, the better work performance, increased energy, the decrease in depression, the simple grace it gives patients to take a little stress off themselves so they can better enjoy the things they love… The list goes on and on. Each patient at our clinic has a customized treatment plan based on their current health and goals.
We have also been working really hard to bring to you Hormone Optimization with bioidentical hormones. This helps both females and males get that energy back, have better sleep, increase muscle gain and retention while helping your body metabolize the unwanted weight, increase libido, and improve mental focus! Who doesn’t want that!
With my excitement and passion for longevity and antiaging medicine increasing, I completed a certification through A4M for Peptide Therapy. These bring patients the extra boost or optimization that you are looking for. Want to gain muscle easier, heal faster, have more energy, detox, live longer and healthier? We can do that.
Before the holidays this year we will also have an IV and Injectable BAR available for you. Where you are looking for a quick recovery from those holiday parties, a boost in your immune system, glowing skin, or energy boost we will have you covered. Don’t forget your self care while taking care of everyone else this season!
What is your favorite thing about Optimized Health?
Well medicine is changing and I think we will see a dramatic change in the next 10 years. Here at Optimized Health we are getting a jump start on things. I want to pioneer this for our community. Let people know what all the possibilities are out there. Helping patients optimize their health now, so they can look and feel better today and in the future. Gone are the days of waiting to be sick then doing something about it. We are proactive so you never get to that point! This field of medicine is growing and I’m excited for all the advancements our future is looking promising!!
What does a “day in the life” look like for you?
I am an early riser, I’m up at 5am most days. I like to get a few min of quiet before the rest of the house is buzzing! This allows me to focus and set intentions. Then snuggles with my little fella the first few minutes when he gets up and crawls up into my lap, it’s my favorite! After that we are off to start our days. I head into the office, seeing patients, marketing and always learning. Most days I’m wrapping up later in the afternoon to pick my son up and head home for dinner. I love to swim with him, bike ride or some type of activity before we settle in. I’m lucky my Husband is usually the cook, and he makes amazing food!! We all eat together then it’s usually bedtime routine for my son and shortly after I’m calling it a day as well. I try to sneak in a workout in the morning when I can, but living in Mont Vernon has been a bit challenging!
What are your goals for your business in the next 3-5 years?
I’m really excited to be here full time now. My goal is to bring more longevity medicine and non traditional health care to patients that are looking to improve themselves, really helping them plan and shape how they want their future to look. There are so many non conventional options that are out there that can really benefit patients. From changing how knee pain and arthritis is treated with A2m to resetting the sympathetic nervous system. Patients are more and more starting to take their health care into their own hands and I would expect to see a great change in medicine and how we treat aging and disease over the next 10-25 years, maybe sooner. We won’t wait till people are sick then treat, we will make sure it doesn’t get to that point in the first place so they can live their best life and optimize their health span.
What are your favorite local spots in town?
My favorite local spot in town is Pressed Cafe, and the Wicked Good Butchah.
What is your best piece of advice for people looking to start a business?
Find mentors and connect with others! Keep moving forward, getting really good at goal setting and keeping to things that actually move the business, not just keep you “busy” or as my husband would say “move the rocks”.
How can people connect with you and follow your business?
