Here at The Bedford Mom we believe that moms deserve to be recognized and celebrated! This month we are so excited to feature Sogole Moin, a mom of two sweet girls and a successful orthodontist who owns her own practice. Read all about her below!
Tell us about yourself!
My name is Sogole Moin and I live in Bedford with my husband, Brandon, and our two daughters, Soraya (7yo) and Niloo (5yo). I am the owner of and orthodontist at Moin Orthodontics, which is located right on the Manchester-Bedford line. We moved to Bedford in 2015, but I grew up in Manchester and attended Central High School. I like to ski in the winter and spend time at my husband’s family’s lake house in Maine in the summer.
Tell us about your work!
I am fortunate to be following in my father’s footsteps. I joined Moin Orthodontics in 2012 and my father retired a few years later. I am the sole orthodontist at my practice and feel so lucky to create beautiful smiles everyday! I work with the best team (a few of whom have been there longer than me) and have the best patients!
What are your favorite local restaurants?
Pressed Café, Bedford Village Inn Tavern, Copper Door.
What is your favorite way to practice self-care?
Dentists don’t always have the best posture while practicing dentistry, so I prioritize getting massages every month to take care of my back and neck. I also like to squeeze in work-outs in the morning, either at home or at Pure Barre Bedford.
What brought you to Bedford?
I wanted to live close to my father’s practice when I joined him. Bedford has great schools and a smaller town feel than some of the other nearby areas we were considering.
What is your favorite thing about Bedford?
I love the community and the wonderful people we have met!
What are your favorite local spots in town?
We love spending time at The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill during all four seasons! I also love Flight Coffee!
