Tell us about yourself!
I am a married mom with two kids, 19 and 21, in college in Chicago and Boston. We have two dogs, a cat and six chickens. We’ve lived in Bedford since 2005 and our kids went through the Bedford schools. I love to travel (of course!), hike/walk, play pickleball, yoga, and float in the ocean.
Tell us about Good Life Travel!
I have been an entrepreneur since 2004. My travel business was born after selling my former business with a desire to help others experience the world as I love to do. I get giddy when I know people are loving their vacations and am so excited to see their photos and hear all about their adventures when they return home. My specialties are families and couples traveling to Europe, Hawaii and the Caribbean.
Why do you love what you do?
I love helping people. With my travel agency, I help people save multiple hours of searching and offer peace of mind with vetted partners in destinations around the world. Also, I am available if needed while in the destination, my clients have my cell phone number. All you need to worry about is what to pack.

What does a “day in the life” look like for you?
I combine work with exercise and more, working with calls, emails, learning via zoom…creating experiences for people through creative itineraries all around the world!
Truly, I am a kinesthetic learner so I love to go to conferences and meet with people in person and visit destinations. I just spent May in Greece for a conference, and some fun with my husband, and then to Hawaii to tour twenty three resorts with a travel partner and six other advisors. My family came to meet after work was done and we got to explore Maui together then to Seattle to visit good friends. It was exhilarating, exciting and exhausting all at the same time, I loved it!
What are your goals for your business in the next 3-5 years?
Put together pickleball groups to travel for fun and learning, put together voluntourism opportunities where people can travel and also give back to the area where we travel, double the number of people I help travel annually each year. Also I plan to grow my team with a partner travel advisor as well as a support person.
What are your favorites local spots in town?
My tops are Flight Coffee, Inside Scoop and A La Page.
What is your best piece of advice for people looking to start a business?
Go for it; I have always been a “ready, fire, aim” type of person. I highly recommend collaborating with people in the same industry as well as other businesses through networking. I live by this quote: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Helen Keller.
