Hello! My name is Jessica Paey, and I am a Physician Assistant with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. My career has been dedicated to patient care, safety, and achieving the best possible outcomes. I am the founder of both Modern Medspa in Hooksett, NH, and Prestige Prenatal Imaging Center in Bedford, NH. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my dogs, friends, and family. I love reading, exploring the outdoors, and taking time to appreciate the simple joys life has to offer.

At Prestige Prenatal Imaging, we specialize in creating unforgettable experiences for expecting families through elective ultrasound services. We utilize state-of-the-art 3D and 4D ultrasound technology to give families the opportunity to bond with their babies in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Our mission is to make every moment special and memorable, all while maintaining the highest standards of care and safety. To ensure the best possible experience, I am proud to employ a team of highly skilled sonographers, each with over 10 years of experience, dedicated to providing you with stunning images and a seamless, enjoyable visit.
What inspired you to start a prenatal imaging business?
My inspiration came during a networking event where a pregnant woman mentioned how she wished she could see her baby more often, beyond the limited scans at her OB’s office. Someone in the group told her about elective ultrasound services, and it was like a light bulb went off for me. Having spent my entire career in radiology, I was surprised I hadn’t come across this concept before. After doing some research, I discovered there was a demand for this service, especially in New Hampshire. I knew Bedford would be the perfect location—a welcoming, family-oriented community that values these precious moments. That conversation planted the seed, and the idea quickly grew into what is now Prestige Prenatal Imaging.
What types of ultrasounds do you offer, and how are they different from diagnostic ones?
We specialize in 3D and 4D ultrasounds that provide a stunningly detailed view of your baby’s features. These ultrasounds are purely for entertainment and bonding purposes, rather than for medical diagnosis. Our services are focused on creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience for families.
What can expectant parents expect during their appointment at your facility?
Expectant parents can look forward to a warm and welcoming atmosphere where they’ll feel at ease. During their session, they’ll see incredible live images of their baby in real-time using advanced 3D and 4D technology. We create a calm and joyful environment, allowing families to connect with their baby and share this special moment together.
Do you offer any special packages or keepsakes for families, such as photo prints or videos?
Yes! We offer a variety of keepsakes, including high-quality photo prints, digital images, and videos of your ultrasound session. We also have packages that include heartbeat recordings in stuffed animals, gender reveal items and more, so families can cherish these memories forever.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about prenatal imaging?
Many people don’t realize how advanced the technology has become. With 3D and 4D ultrasounds, parents can see incredibly detailed images of their baby, capturing facial expressions, tiny fingers, and even movements in real time. It’s an emotional and unforgettable experience!
What advice would you give to new moms or moms-to-be in the community?
Take time to enjoy the journey. Motherhood is full of beautiful moments, and it’s important to celebrate them along the way. Surround yourself with a supportive community, prioritize self- care, and don’t hesitate to reach out for help or guidance when you need it. You’re not alone on this journey, and every moment is worth cherishing.
What are your favorite local spots in town?
One of my favorite ways to start my day is with an ice coffee from either Flight or Pressed Cafe —both are delicious. After that, I love heading to Pulpit Rock for a hike with my dogs. It’s the perfect way to enjoy some fresh air and start the day on a peaceful note.
What are your goals for your business in the next 3-5 years?
In the next 3-5 years, I hope to expand Prestige Prenatal Imaging into a trusted household name for expecting families in New Hampshire and beyond. My ultimate goal is to make every family’s experience unforgettable. I also plan to collaborate more maternity care providers to ensure that every expecting parent in our area knows about this service. Long-term, I would love to offer more services and open additional locations to serve even more families while maintaining the intimate, personalized care that sets us apart.
What is your best piece of advice for people looking to start a business?
If you’re serious about starting a business, my best advice is to stay focused and unwavering in your vision. Don’t let fear of judgment or criticism hold you back, and don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who inspire and support you, and always remember why you started. Also, never stop learning. I highly recommend reading Three Feet from Gold by Greg S. Reid, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. These books have been instrumental in shaping my entrepreneurial mindset and staying motivated.
